Last night was so much fun, it was even worth the pain I'm suffering now. Instead of sitting home with my crabby self, I met Michele and Mia for drinks. Lots of conversation and laughs and even a little dancing at the end. Perfect evening all around. It's so nice to have good girl friends - I need to remind myself of that fact more often, I think. I have a tendency towards isolation, and I forget how great it is to just get out and hang with some cool, like-minded individuals.
Today I have to go on something like a field trip. Normally I'd welcome the chance to get out of the office for a while, but right now I just want to sit in my cube and wait for my brain to shake off the fog. Oh well. I'll just chug my venti latte and hope for the best.
I have to make a correction to an earlier post. Bad Taste does not hold the record for the most fake blood used in a film - it holds the record for using the most REAL blood in a film! According to Mike (who seems to be an expert in this genre), they used real sheep's blood, and even sheep's innards as brains. So freakin' nasty. You really wanted to know that, didn't you? ;)
ooooh eeeeeeeewwww
that's not what i wanted to hear. that explains why it was so genuinely sickening. wow, memories of Bad Taste don't go well with nerves and hangover.
